Terry L. Jones Recognized with IAHSS Lifetime Achievement Award

Terry L. Jones received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Mid-Michigan International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Chapter meeting on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Zehnder’s Restaurant in Frankenmuth.

Bart Bennett, Vice-President of Teachout Security Solutions accepted the award on Terry’s behalf.

Terry was an integral part of Teachout’s success for many years, particularly in the healthcare arena. De-escalation and seeking a positive outcome were pillars of his security expertise.

In 2023, Terry retired from Teachout Security after 30-plus years in the security industry.  His drive for continuing education and credentialing was evident in his service on the Healthcare Council for American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and involvement with the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS).
