Teachout Security Takes Center Stage at MLA Conference
The 2023 Annual Michigan Library Association (MLA) Conference was recently held at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo October 18-20. This event provides a unique setting for library professionals to gain new skills, explore emerging trends, and make important connections.
At the request of the Michigan Library Association, Teachout Security Solutions provided security for the entire event. The Teachout business development staff were also on hand to answer questions and share their knowledge and security experiences with MLA members at the Teachout display booth in the exhibit hall.
Several of Teachout’s MLA clients throughout Michigan were in attendance and were actively engaged in spirited conversation often touting Teachout’s quality training programs, professional approach, and security services to their respective libraries.
The theme of MLA 2023 was Connecting the Dots, and the Teachout Education Team was a natural link for library directors and staff.
Increased community needs and daily challenges were shared by many attendees. The Teachout Team shared additional insights on how specific training, security consulting, and risk assessments can help with future growth and support in their communities.
