Flint, Michigan, September 22, 2023 – De-escalation and seeking a positive outcome were the pillars of security for Terry L. Jones. He has shared that vision with the many employees at Teachout Security that he has mentored over his 30-plus years in the industry.
Today, we congratulate Terry Jones MA, CPP, CHPA on his retirement earlier this month. Terry has been integral to Teachout’s success for many years, particularly in the Healthcare arena.
Terry began his employment with Teachout in the mid 80’s working directly for Bernard Teachout. He went on to work for public safety at Hurley Medical Center. In 2007, he returned to Teachout and worked tirelessly to help grow and develop their management team and their Healthcare Program. He has been a mentor to many of the employees of Teachout as well as countless others within the industry. His drive for continuing education and credentialing in the industry was evident in his service on the Healthcare Council for ASIS and his involvement with the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety.
